i-Fairy prince black review!

man this is late. really really late.
so uh i finally got around to writing this review. ahem.

i bought these i-fairy prince black lens (plano) from bonito mabellens house, here. mabelyn is so helpful and kind it's not funny. i originally left a comment/msg saying that i wanted this and this, had a few troubles with her order form but she was very patient in explaining to me the difference between the different shipping prices. then i placed my order...until my parents dragged me off to hot springs for a week long vacation where i couldn't access my card to pay her via paypal. by the time i got around to sending my money, the promotion was already over, but she was kind enough to still give me the promotional price. ALREADY NICE ENOUGH, RIGHT? then few weeks later she messages me on facebook saying that since there is a NEW promotion going on and she didn't send out my lenses yet, that i could also choose another pair of i-fairy lenses for FREE. ...oh my god.
so in this batch i ordered the prince black, moe moe brown (which i am in love with fufuu), dolly+ brown (i love them light lenses hurrr) and eos browns. they were sent exactly when she said she would ship them out, and arrived fairly quickly. they were wrapped up nicely and a really nice case came along with it too ヽ(;▽;)ノ
so before i actually move onto the actual lens, i wanna stress a bit more on her awesome customer service. i will go back and buy lens from her again if i see more designs i like (IT'S CHEAP TOO OK. I LIKE THINGS CHEAP)

alright, so the first things i noticed about these when i took them out of the little bottles was how huge they were. it was advertised at 16.2mm i believe, but they are huge. fucking huge. they're more than big enough to wear without makeup on a lazy day, so that's a plus. if you're looking for lens that will make you look like a doll you have found them. although they are comfortable, they get increasingly worse after 6 hours, but it's mostly because of two things. 1) they're big. really big. no oxygen lol. 2) my eyes are already pretty sensitive and dry atm, might just be me (´ー`)┌ of course, they won't start feeling BAD or anything, you just won't be participating in any staring contests after 6 hours with these...the design i can't say much about. generic pure black lens. blends nicely into your natural eye colour, which doesn't really show on me since my iris is already pretty dark e____e
they're nothing special, design wise, but they look absolutely stunning with light or heavy makeup. they're natural enough that, from far away, people won't be able to really tell you're wearing lenses. and they won't be able to tell up close if they don't notice the huge enlargement these give.

so...tl;dr BUY THESE. cheap, comfortable, enlarging, and what most people look for when buying black lens.

not the best, but not the worst. they do make your eyes feel tired and dry after a long day though.

So. to the details. Why 3/5 for quality? it's a 600$ japanese phone! well. i used to have a nice fujitsu F01C. and i tell you, that phone felt 10x better than these sharp phones. maybe it's just me.  i really don't like the light feel to it, and the easy to open hinge. the reason i liked japanese phones over american phones were because when you held them they had some weight to them, and it felt like YOU WERE ACTUALLY HOLDING SOMETHING,. but damn, this phones light. i confirmed with a friend that all sharp phones are like this, so it's not a fake (thankfully ;__;) but this aspect really disappointed me. a lot.
but it looks really expensive and fancy, yes? i mean, it feels cheap, but it doesn't break easily (i know because i dropped it by accident like 10 times already...) it opens very easily, unlike my old F10C that required some sort of effort to open. of course, like all japanese phones it's one of those swerve around and use-as-touch-phone phones.

and if you're here for the review, you should know it has 3D display and camera shooting + side lights like the old SH01C and the new F-something LOL. the lights nice, but the 3D effect is something i rarely use. maybe it's also due to the fact i got a 3DS last year, so the idea of having 3D pictures and display isn't that "OMAIGAWSH" to me. you can change the color of the lights and keypad lights all you want. and set the light alert for certain contacts etc. but to be honest i wish it offered more customization for the keypad lights (fujitsu had more) and more color themes + better looking themes. the ui for sharp phones...just horrible. i would throw up in my mouth a little bit but i managed to get it look half decent. of course, if you never had a japanese phone before its not really much different from any american phone (and certainly better than the iphone default theme), but once you get spoiled by the other phones that offer much more stylish and sleek ui, you kinda just wanna throw this one out the window. this was disappointment number 2. of course, i wouldn't have changed phones anyways if that one wasn't lost haha.

but it also has a nice qwerty keyboard for those that can't stand the standard way of texting (I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME USE TOUCH SCREEN KEYBOARDS PROPERLY). i used to be teased for my horrible typing on my touch idevices, my sentences would come out completely lsakdjfa. i usually use the qwerty keyboard when i have to type something really long, but i usually prefer the normal 3-touch input better.
the screen is nice. quite large (HOW I LIKE EM) and bright. not as good as the f01c. yup. however, this phone IS SOFTWARE UNLOCKED so it saved my sanity. i hated it when it stopped receiving signal when i needed it the most, and always had to carry around another phone to preform cpr. the signal on this phone is quite good, too, for most parts. some texts might come a bit slow, and some texts might not send properly the first time, but thats rare. the wifi signal isn't all that good, but i have yet to see a j-phone with good wifi signal (compared to the itouch/iphone etc). of course, you wouldn't be surfing the internet with this anyways. unless you just cant get away from dat facebook.

and i finish off with some nice (bad quality) photos of the phone yup.
is it worth it? depends. if you've already been spoiled by fujitsu, prepared to be disappointed. for sure, i'd never get a sharp phone again. but then, that's me. wonderful phone, wonderful camera, i just don't like the messy ui and flimsy feeling. here i have a picture i took on my vacation to banff with the phones outer camera.

looks nice right? very good quality. you can zoom in all you want if i uploaded the full size photo, you can get in super close to a tree on that mountain and it'll only be slightly blurry. why did i give it a 4/5 rating then? even though it's 16mp, it doesn't fell all that different from f01c's 12.6mp. meh. im no camera expert, so don't listen to that LOL.
